Lingoo gives Host Families the opportunity to respond online to any evaluations they receive that they feel are unjustified.

Their reply must be sent using the contact form accessible from the Host Family's account page. If the reply is accepted by our team, it will be posted online and appear on the Host Family's offer, alongside the evaluation concerned.

In order to be accepted and posted online, the reply must meet the publication criteria set out below:

• Suitable for a family audience
Abuse, threats, insinuations, comments likely to provoke hatred and any other content not suitable for a family audience will not be accepted.

• Written for everyone
A reply must not be addressed directly to a Search Family, but written for everyone to read.

• Timescale
Replies to evaluations that are more than six months old will not be published. Note: if you wish to change a reply, please contact us.

• Confidentiality
The reply must not include any website or e-mail addresses or any other content of a promotional nature. We reserve the right to refuse any URL for any reason whatsoever. must not include surnames, phone numbers or postal or e-mail addresses.

• Non-commercial
Evaluations must not include any website or e-mail addresses or any other content of a promotional nature. We reserve the right to refuse any URL for any reason whatsoever.

• Based on standard rules used for writing e-mail
Exclusive use of CAPITAL LETTERS, HTML tags, excessive use of typographical symbols and non-standard abbreviations are not allowed. Please be aware that formatting (including lists) will not be visible.

Instructions for sending your reply:

1. From the Home page, click on Contact.
2. In the contact form, select Reply to an evaluation.
3. Write your reply. Remember to include all the details of the evaluation concerned (Search Family no., date of stay, length of stay and title of evaluation.
4. Send your reply. If it meets our publication criteria, your reply will be posted online within 48 hours. It will appear on your offer alongside the evaluation concerned.
