My son is learning French at secondary school and I think he would enjoy studying the language at A-level and perhaps even at university. I believe he would benefit from an exchange with a French family but I am not sure how to organise one as the school no longer arranges them. Can you suggest a solution?.

Lingoo.eu, a website which enables parents to arrange for their child to stay with like-minded families abroad, is offering families the chance to register their details free of charge. Families in York, Harrogate, Tadcaster, Wetherby and Selby who register on the site before 31 August 2008 will not have to pay the £50* annual registration fee.
