Publication criteria for evaluations
Evaluations must meet the following criteria in order to be published online (i.e. shown against the offer of the Host Family concerned):
• Suitable for a family audience
Abuse, threats, insinuations, comments likely to provoke hatred and any other content not suitable for a family audience will not be accepted.
• Written for everyone
Evaluations must not be addressed directly to the Host Family, but written for everyone to read.
• Timescale frequency
Evaluations for study holidays from more than a year ago are not permitted. We only allow one evaluation per Search Family Subscriber for a single Host Family Subscriber every three months. Note: if you wish to change an evaluation, please contact us.
• Personal opinion
An evaluation must be an independent account of the personal experience of a Search Family Subscriber and their child.
• Confidentiality
Evaluations must not include surnames, phone numbers or postal or e-mail addresses.
• Non-commercial
Evaluations must not include any website or e-mail addresses or any other content of a promotional nature. We reserve the right to refuse any URL for any reason whatsoever.
• Based on standard rules used for writing e-mail
Exclusive use of CAPITAL LETTERS, HTML tags, excessive use of typographical symbols and non-standard abbreviations are not allowed. Please be aware that formatting (including lists) will not be visible.
| • We do our utmost to protect ourselves from fraudulent evaluations. If we become aware that a Host Family Subscriber is asking Search Family Subscribers to write evaluations for them, whether this is in return for payment or not, we will take appropriate action; in particular, we reserve the right to cancel the subscription of the Host Family concerned immediately. Similarly, if we become aware that a Search Family Subscriber is trying to damage a Host Family Subscriber by submitting a misleading evaluation for any reason whatsoever, we will take appropriate action; in particular, we reserve the right to cancel the subscription of the Search Family concerned immediately. |
